Eye Problem and its Recovery through Natural Vision Therapy

 

Most of the eye problem comes from continuous strain on eyes and mind which needs a proper natural vision therapy. In a report in ophthalmology reveals that more than 68% people among highly qualified people are a great sufferer of any type of eye problem dues to lack of natural vision improvement exercises.

 

Cause of error of refraction

The main cause of error of refraction are of 3 types –

 

1) Mechanical

 

The focusing action of the eye whereby the light rays in the form of an image are focused on the sensitive film (the retina).

 

2) Nervous

 

The sensitivity of the retina in receiving light rays and transmitting them to the visual centre in the brain.

 

3) Mental

 

The interpretation of the picture. Vision is the process of the mental interpretation. The picture which mind sees is not the impression on the retina, but a mental interpretation of it. The act of seeing is a passive one, and one sees involuntarily as one hears or tastes or smells.

 

1. What is amblyopia?

 

Amblyopia, commonly known as lazy eye, is the eye condition noted by reduced vision not correctable by glasses or contact lenses and is not due to any eye disease. The brain, for some reason, does not fully acknowledge the images seen by the amblyopic eye. This almost always affects only one eye but may manifest with reduction of vision in both eyes. It is estimated that 3% of children under six have some form of amblyopia.

 

Causes of Lazy Eye or amblyopia

 

Anything that interferes with clear vision in either eye during the critical period (birth to 6 years of age) can cause amblyopia. The most common causes of amblyopia are constant strabismus (constant turn of one eye), anisometropia (different vision/prescriptions in each eye), and/or blockage of an eye due to cataract, trauma, lid droop, etc. Amblyopia is a neurologically active process. In other words, the loss of vision takes place in the brain. If one eye sees clearly and the other sees a blur, the brain can inhibit (block, ignore, suppress) the eye with the blur. The brain can also suppress one eye to avoid double vision. The inhibition process (suppression) can result in a permanent decrease in the vision in the blurry eye that can not be corrected with glasses, lenses, or lasik surgery.

 

2. What is the clinical treatment of error of refraction and amblyopia?

 

Almost everyone as well as doctors believes that there is no treatment of refractive error except prescribe glasses or contacts, nowadays there is another process of getting full vision is refractive surgery but this is also a temporary treatment. More than 90% people who already have done refractive surgery are suffering again in that problem.

 

I have already treated more than 1200 people of refractive error in last 3 years; I got many refractive surgery cases, patients are very much disappointed about their eyesight.

 

Treatment involves glasses, drops, vision therapy and/or patching. Recent medical research has proven that amblyopia is successfully treated up to the age of 17.

 

Different types of refractive error

 

We can find four types of error of refraction, these are–

 

Hyperopia

 

Distance vision and near vision is imperfect. Light rays come from the distance object or near object cannot get a proper focusing in the macula area of retina due to shape of eyeball and lens.

 

Astigmatism

 

People with Astigmatism have irregularly shaped corneas and lens. Symptoms include blurred vision, double vision in one eye. Patients, especially kids, will squint and move objects or tilt their heads focus. Astigmatisms are corrected with eyeglasses or contact lenses.

 

Presbyopia

 

Presbyopia is a simple condition. It occurs when the lens loses its flexibility, and generally develops with age. When the lens cannot bulge out or stretch, it cannot focus light on vision the retina very well and this results in blurred.
